327% Organic Traffic Growth for a Swedish B2B SaaS Company
B2B SaaS · Sweden: monthly organic visits grew from 8,200 to 35,000 (+327%) in 14 months, with 184 links built and Domain Rating up from 32 to 55.
The client
Our client is a Swedish B2B SaaS company that sells workflow and business management software to small and mid-sized companies. It had already invested heavily in content and technical SEO, but organic growth had started to plateau. Several of its most valuable commercial pages ranked between positions 8 and 30, while larger competitors held the top results.
The challenge
The content was strong, but the site lacked topical and page-level authority. Most backlinks pointed to the homepage, so product pages, industry landing pages and key supporting content had very little external authority. The client wanted to grow in Sweden specifically, not launch a broad international campaign, so prospecting had to focus on Swedish business, technology and SaaS websites.
What we did
We built a Sweden-focused strategy around the client’s highest-value commercial topics:
- Competitor backlink analysis: We analyzed the strongest Swedish competitors and found websites that already link to companies in adjacent SaaS categories.
- Swedish guest posts: We secured editorial placements on Swedish business, technology, startup and industry websites.
- Deep-page link building: Instead of sending most links to the homepage, we built links directly to feature pages, industry pages and strategic content assets.
- Contextual link insertions: We found relevant existing articles where the client’s resources were a useful addition.
- Content asset promotion: We promoted research pieces, business guides and educational resources to relevant publishers.
- Natural anchor distribution: We spread branded, URL, topical and partial-match anchors across the campaign.
The results
Growth was consistent across the 14 months.
- Organic traffic grew 327%, from about 8,200 to 35,000 visits a month.
- Domain Rating rose from 32 to 55.
- Ranking keywords grew from 4,800 to more than 16,400.
- 63 commercially relevant keywords entered Google’s top 10.
- 21 priority keywords reached the top three.
- Product and solution pages generated a much larger share of the site’s organic traffic.
The campaign showed that a targeted domestic strategy can work better than a broad one when the priority is authority in a single market.
